How to be happier with yourself (RIGHT NOW)
"I will be happy when...." Do you ever say that? I know I am a guilty culprit! I have said this FAR too many times. It's just so....easy. It's easy to put off being happy until something happens. It's easy to wish you had things right now that are sitting out there on the horizon of your future. It's easy to wait and wonder when will "happy" find you.
But the terrifying thing is that if you keep putting happiness off, it will never come. Yes, you will finally graduate college, get marries, find a great job, make more money, have nicer things, BUT by the time those things happen you are already looking past them to the happiness awaiting you someday.
Recently I've been thinking a lot about this. Right now life is a little stressful and I have caught myself multiple times saying, "I will be happy when...(fill in the blank with whatever your solution is)".
I don't want to live my life like that, and I bet you don't either. That is why I've given a lot of thought to how to increase my happiness right now in a way that is lasting and fulfilling. And I found some solutions that work!
